Finding Promises Out of Reverence

I’ve deceived myself into believing that I don’t have that much to say, but really what I have to say isn’t popular. It ceases to be limited, is offensive, and its natural response in a world built off deception is rejection. Nevertheless, if you want unadulterated truth that pierces your heart and injects you with life to the fullest, then look no further than God’s Word and ask God for understanding as you do because revelation comes from Holy Spirit and not your own intellect. The reason why I’m a Christian today is because I had a supernatural encounter with God where He spoke to me audibly through what sounded like a whirlwind, and the first thing He said, which has been my focus ever since, was this, “It’s
okay to be fearful, but the only one who you can fear is the One who can destroy both body and soul.”
The fear of the Lord is what I believe is the catalyst to the next mass revival in America in the likes of which we have never seen. In fact, as God is currently separating the wheat from the tares and making a very distinct line between the two, for those with eyes to see, I believe that the fear of the Lord will be the most distinguishing trait between them. When Jesus comes back, which is sooner than we think, we all will have to give an account for everything we’ve said or did not say, done or did not do, and the wisdom to move left or right will be because of having a strong foundation in the fear of the Lord. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)” “The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. (Job 28:28)”
Based on scripture, we’ll look at some of the verses that have blessed my house as we’ve trusted in God and His promises on having the fear of the Lord. As you incorporate these promises into your life:
Repent of every known sin / change your mind and commit yourself to practically denying yourself by seeking accountability, counsel, and develop healthy spiritual habits such as frequent prayer, fasting, and studying of scripture. As often as I shower to clean naturally, that’s how often I need to repent spiritually to clean my soul (mind, will, and emotions).
Believe and trust God at His Word and receive His promises by faith. How would you act and feel when God’s promise is in full effect in your life? Live in that mentality in the now because, “if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Matthew 21:22)”
Remain in the condition of the promise and ask God for His grace and mercy in prayer as Holy Spirit sanctifies you, and then give God praise and thanks for these promises as He gives good gifts for those who ask for them!
